to house the Mendel Gottesman Library. We therefore report
with a sense of satisfaction and pride that blueprints are cur­
rently being prepared for the erection of a new building to be
situated on the main campus of Yeshiva University. The plan
includes a rare book room, a manuscript room, seminar rooms
for graduate courses, an exhibit area and a microfilm center to
house the microfilms of the important manuscripts of the
world’s great libraries. The projected facilities also include
open stacks where the readers can browse and enjoy free access
to the material needed for their research.
