This quarterly publication, initiated in 1982, was considerably
upgraded in 1987 and 1988. More pages o f advertising and
revenue were reported and the layout was redesigned to include
more feature articles. Audience response has been enthusiastic.
JEW ISH BOOKS IN REV IEW
A bimonthly syndicated service o f the Council, its book re­
views are being used by more than 50 English-Jewish newspa­
pers and periodicals throughout the country. It is estimated
that in the past year some 130 reviews were published. These
included fiction, non-fiction and children’s books.
