enhancing the cultural and spiritual life of the American Jewish
community. Tha t it has been steadfast in its commitment for
the past half century is to the credit of its lay and professional
leadership.

the Annual for close to four decades. We gratefully acknowl­
edge its special generous allocation towards the publication of
