and tape recordings made at Zionist congresses and other im
portant functions.
With some 7,000 meters (4Vs miles) of shelving already filled
with its holdings, CZA may be considered the largest Jewish
historical archives in the world. With a much larger area of
shelving still available it conducts an active program of accession
of new acquisitions, and welcomes the receipt of archival ma
terial from Jewish and Zionist organizations in Israel and the
Diaspora.
