Ellis Rivkin, and Mattityahu Tsevat. Zionism has produced men
of action, who utilize the pen to advance their ideas and record
its history, Arthur Ruppin and Chaim Herzog.
This survey spans a thousand years of Jewish literary cre­
ativity in its great variety, impressing with its continued vitality.
It should be a harbinger of things to come for the next thousand
years.
